Fighter, Ranger or Wizard: pick your poison.
Well, technically, youre not restricted to just one class.
you could always choose to level up the class that fits your play style best.
ButObsidian EntertainmentsAvowedalso lets you mix and match abilities from either class.
The abilities you choose will cross over seamlessly, especially between the Ranger/Wizard or Fighter/Ranger classes.
Still, you have to be smart about the abilities you prioritize.
The enemies in the world of Eora spawn once.
And so, the rewards and loot they grant you have to be allocated wisely.
Grimoire Mastery (Wizard)
Spells are a pretty handy tool inAvowed.
They get you out of tight combat situations but can also break through magic-specific obstacles during exploration.
Tied to the Wizard skill tree, this ability does wonders for the rate at which you consume Essence.
Constant Recovery (Fighter)
Fighters arent afraid to get up close and personal with their adversaries.
They will often rely on theirmelee skills and weaponsto get them out of trouble.
Unfortunately, this also means that they will sustain the most damage.
That way, they can regenerate health quicker while also helping you rest in between attacks.
Tanglefoot (Ranger)
Rangers, on the other hand, thrive on ranged combat.
So, among the best abilities inAvowedfor this class is Tanglefoot.
This gives you enough time to charge at them with the most potent strike you have.
Each dodge will cost you some Stamina.
With Evasive, though, your Stamina cost decreases by 25%.
Thats the Charge ability for the Fighter skill tree or equipped to the other classes.
The forward dash is quite powerful enough to blast through walls, too.
Lucky for you, Steady Aim on the Ranger skill tree can help improve your aim.
Feel free to use Steady Aim for crossbows and arrows, too.
But the ice shards come in handy when freezing water, too, or breaking through certain obstacles.
Within a span of 20 seconds, Arcane Veil will cut any damage you take by half.
Any damage taken away is always welcome in gaming.Plus, the ability doesnt necessitate equipping the Grimoire.
Toughness (Fighter)
Another great defense mechanism you might apply to the Fighter skill tree is Toughness.
They are often fighting in close quarters and are more likely to be injured.
With the Toughness ability equipped, you’ve got the option to regain 20% more HP permanently.
The 20% hardly compares to most health boosts.
This is pretty grand, making your exploration pay off.
With Survavilst equipped, though, you’re able to maximize each consumable at 20% more.
Further, health potions and food items take up space in your inventory.
They can weigh heavy, too, slowing you down.
Survivalist helps you manage your inventory for more valuable resources, gear, armor, and more.
