Theres a level of difficulty I’ve come to expect in video games.
But sometimes, the developers go a little overboard.
Its fascinating because you want to believe that you could crack the system.
Perhaps theres a specific combo you havent mastered quite yet.
Or, theres a weak point you havent explored.
As a result, he gained enhanced strength, agility, intelligence, and health.
With an immense thirst for blood, Deathstroke is on a revenge mission to kill Batman.
And while Batman defeated him once, doing so twice will take everything you have.
Melania Elden Ring
Elden Ringis a tough game.
So, imagine having to fight the hardest boss: Melania.
Its as if nothing sticks with her.
You could land a few punches and barely make a dent.
On the other hand, one hit from her drastically drains your health bar.
Additionally, Melania is highly unpredictable and quick on her feet.
She also automatically refills her HP, even when you block.
Oh, and did I mention theres a phase two run in with her?
Regenerators Resident Evil 4
Its in the name.
Regenerators inResident Evil 4are a menace to kill.
Their bodies absorb bullets, so no use wasting precious ammo on them.
Using a knife, instead, may get you somewhere.
But they heal faster than normal.
The only safe bet is to use a thermal scope to aim for the chest.
Yet still, another Regenerator could be lurking on its back, forcing you to go around it.
Its one of those fights where you’d be better off retreating to safety.
The Nameless King Dark Souls III
The Nameless King inDark Souls IIIcomes in pairs.
Theres a formidable dragon you have to slay first.
Then, move on to the harder part, which is the king himself.
Thats not to say killing the dragon is any easier.
Its lightning fast and unleashes powerful attacks.
The kings, on the other hand, are faster (if that were possible) and stronger.
Giants The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimGiants are the worst.
Especially because the game unleashes its might when you least expect it.
Youve just touched base with the villagers, when a bagged, chainsaw-wielding man charges at you with vengeance.
Of course, the next time you go toe to toe with Dr. Salvador, youll be more prepared.
Still, these kinds of openings are fun for assessing how alert you’re free to be.
Ornstein and Smough Dark Souls
Ornstein and Smough inDark Soulscome in pairs, too.
Not only that, but they also complement each other quite well.
You could take them on by yourself.
However, feel free to summon another player to divide and conquer.
First, you must defeat all eight Valkyries to unlock Sigrun.
ensure to take note of each Valkyries abilities, because Sigrun will possess them all.
Even with strong memories, defeating Sigrun is a rigorous process.
Further toughened by each ability dealing more damage.
King Dice Cuphead
Cuphead, despite its 1930s cartoon adaptation, features quite difficult boss battles.
Best of all is the fight with King Dice, who has up to 10 phases.
Before starting phase one, youll have to beat a board game.
Then, during the phases, focus more on dodging than attacking to ultimately put him down.
Everything Devil Daggers
Its one thing to endure fighting one (or a pair) of bosses.
Imagine, though, if everything you run into is trying to kill you.
ThatsDevil Daggersin a nutshell.
All of your time is spent chasing (and being chased by) monsters.
The monsters have the upper hand, with faster pace and deadly one-shot kill strikes.
Theres no story, either, to keep you distracted.
Despite all the step-aways from tradition,Devil Daggersis pretty fun to play.
Instant death keeps you on your toes.
