Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandswas released this year as aBorderlandsspin-off game.
In fact, there are over 20 different DLC campaigns across the Borderlands series.
Well, that and Claptrap, of course.
Borderlands The Secret Armory of General Knoxx
The originalBorderlandsgame ignited the series for its long-running career.
With the best for us going to the third DLC expansion,The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.
It kept the spark alive by introducing two new gripping characters, Athena and General Knoxx.
Both characters were likable, especially General Knoxx, who constantly patronizes you throughout the game.
This made for constant hilarious dialogue that we could listen to all day.
Actually, the entire plot had us laughing the entire time.
Which was a refreshing surprise considering it came so late.
Even though the antagonist was recycled, Gearbox turned it into a gripping story with some hilarious dialogue.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequal Claptastic Voyage
Claptrap is without a doubt one of the most beloved bots in gaming.
We got to go deep into Claptrap’s mind and relive all of his experiences.
Which were darker and more twisted than we imagined.
Being the only DLC forBorderlands: The Pre-Sequal, we strongly feel Gearbox hit it out of the park.
Then it was all topped off with an awesome boss and boss fight with that.
And when you first enterMr.
Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, you quickly realize that this DLC is going to be chaotic.
The battles were nothing short of epic and we really could replay them all day.
Evidently, we did play them all day with the new horde mode that came with the DLC.
This was a never-ending barrage of enemies that filled our appetite forBorderlandscombat.
Despite the focus point being on the gameplay, Gearbox still didn’t take away from other aspects.
Mr. Torgue’s character development is intriguing, and we still get the series' trademark weird humor.
To begin with, the environments were some of the best and most unique we’ve ever had.
Each one felt diverse and unlike anything we’ve explored in previous games.
The highlight, of course, has to be Tina’s heartfelt and emotional story.
It was gripping and sincere, while still retainingBorderland’sIconic humor.
you could also thank it for ignitingTiny Tina’s Wonderlands,a noteworthy, spin-off entry.
