Call of Duty’snewest title,Vanguardwasn’t exactly a hit.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
Black Ops Cold Warwas theCall of Dutyinstallment released one year beforeVanguard.
Although it didn’t receive the same praise thatVanguardgot, the game still feels very similar.
This is most likely due to the fact that Activision is the publisher of both titles.
And the fact that both games use the same IW engine.
So if you’re looking for that fast-paced, run-and-gun-style FPS, thenCold Waris a solid option.
That just means you have more time to grindCold Warif you’ve already exerted your time inVanguard.
The game is a platoon-based realistic FPS, set in WWII.
Or for that matter, running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
This makes for a great deal of strategy in the game until you get into combat.
However, its predecessor,Battlefield Vdoe’s a lot better job.
With that, the storyline follows a very similar suit toVanguard.
Even if you’re here for the multiplayer aspect ofVanguard,Battlefield Vhas this covered as well.
BothBattlefield VandCall of Duty: Vanguardhave very similar plots and for that matter a similar fast-paced FPS style.
You are sure to get a similar experience fromBattlefield Vand with that a very enjoyable one.

The freshest face to the WWII FPS scene isEnlisted.
Released in 2021,Enlistedfocuses on squad-based combat around WWII’s major battles.
Oh, and did I mention it’s free?
The game was made back in 2017 with the same developers ofVanguard, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software.
You could even argue thatVanguardfeels like a re-skinned version of Call of Duty WWII, with new features.
It’s undoubtedly the most comparableCall of Dutygame toVanguard, and I would argue that it’s better.
