Put that on top of the secondhand embarrassment and underlying frustration and you’ve got yourself a genuine heartbreak.
And nobody wants that.
We spend a lot of our lives tallying up hours over our favourite shows.
Just take these five, for example.
Unfortunately, it was for all the wrong reasons.
We can’t say that was a response anybody expected for a franchise so admired, to be fair.
And yet, Crossroads was able to drop the jaws of millions over its PlayStation 2-like teaser.
Oh, and for some ludicrous reason, even the trailer suffered from lag at the 51-second mark?
Like, really, Slightly Mad Studios?
That, unfortunately, forms a rather bleak package that leaves its buyers feeling deceived over its poor contents.
And so, for that, we can only thank EA UK for completely butchering an iconic series.
Let’s just hope Avalanche Software can revive the franchise with Hogwarts Legacy next year.
Not only were the controls ridiculously laggy in most games, but also unbelievably faulty.
So, not exactly the best collection of movie-based games on the market.
Perhaps Shrek 2 on PlayStation 2 but that’s about it.
Maybe it’s time our favourite ogre was put to rest?
At least on video games, anyway.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
We did, however, expect something a little more than what we were given.
Sad times, Marvel fans.
The bottom line is, funnily enough a strong reputation does not guarantee every future work to be flawless.
And that’s what brings us to Rambo: The Video Game.
It’s no wonder it scored an underwhelming 34% on Metacritic.
I mean, that’s pretty generous considering the shambles that is Teyon’s monstrosity.
