More Islands
Another addition to the game that has already been confirmed is new areas.
By adding in more islands, an infinite number of possibilities is opened up by the developer.
They could make anything from a jungle to an industrialized slime zone.
Keeping the rest of the areas of Rainbow Island open also leaves a lot of room for creativity.
We already know that space travel is possible, so finding alien slimes wouldn’t be that strange.
It would be even better if these slimy ancestors could actually be caught inSlime Rancher 2.
The Party Gordo
The legend of the Party Gordo has been going on for years.
This is because the legendary slime was a special find in the first game.
InSlime Rancher 2, the beats of Party Gordo are sorely missed already.
The rare slime would spawn in a preset area every weekend, and players would need to find him.
When they go close to his location, they would hear party music playing.
The closer you get to Party Gordo, the louder the tunes will become.
Like most Gordo Slimes out there, Party Gordo is waiting for you to feed him.
This time though, popping this Gordo will lead to rare rewards that you might’t get anywhere else.
Party Gordo can greatly be expanded inSlime Rancher 2.
We could even finally get the Party Hat Small Slimes to keep on our ranch.
Even if Party Gordo doesn’t return the idea of weekly or special events is always nice.
With the success of the game, it could even become a community effort.
More Decorations
Slime Rancher 2gives you a massive area to get started in.
With all this space, though, you may feel like things are looking a bit bland.
To fix this, you will need to find and use decorations.
Luckily, there are already some in the game.
You just need to hunt down the Treasure Pods and unlock them to get them in your lab.
Of course, decorations right now are a bit limited.
Players love to automate and dress up their personal ranch, however possible.
The first game also already had several different types of decorations that are missing fromSlime Rancher 2.
Side Tasks
One thing that is missing fromSlime Rancher 2is side-quests and mini-games.
You also aren’t being given special collection missions and are left to your own devices.
While this is fine for now, these help to give players more of a focus in the game.
WhileSlime Rancher 2doesn’t have to follow the path of the first game, additional tasks are fun.
So much can be explored about the main character and her lover, and players would love it.
