Best Of
Ah yes,Tomb Raider.
It seems like only yesterday we were locking that poor old butler in the Croft family freezer.
And yet, rather depressingly, we’ve actually gone on twenty-five years of adventures since the very day.
Tomb Raiderhas seen a ridiculous amount of spin-offs and reboots over the years, that’s for sure.
But, like most series, only few have made a big enough impact to warrant a remaster.
The questions is, which of the many arereallyworth looking into?
It was a huge step forTomb Raider, moving up to the PlayStation 2 era.
And it showed, unfortunately.
It just needs a little, say, tender loving care.
And so, for many,Legendwas the beginning of a new chapter in the anthology.
Does that warrant a remaster?
I mean,yes.
Similar toLegend, but shrouded with additional goodies and downloadable content.
Graphically, it was pleasing on the eye, as was the gameplay itself.
And hey, we’d hate to turn our noses up at a reimagined version of the firstTomb Raidergame.
To this day, the originalTomb Raiderholds a place in gamers' hearts.
Hint, hint, Eidos.
