Goombella is the first party member you encounter in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
You meet her in Rogue Port, and she accompanies you into the game’s first chapter.

Admiral Bobbery is a party member you pick up when you visit Keehaul Coast.

Koops also has a bit of a comedic story as his life revolves around his excitable girlfriend Koopie Koo.
Koops can be one of the most useful party members for first attacks.
Mario can aim his shell to quickly hit enemies who are distracted or moving towards him.
Madame Flurrie
Madame Flurrie joins Mario’s team in Chapter 2 when he visits the Boggly Woods.
She is an actress who helps Mario to get the second crystal star by using her impressive breath.
Madame Flurry is able to blow away enemies on the battlefield using Gale Force.
Outside of battle, she can use her gust to reveal hidden areas and blow light objects.
Ms. Mowz
Ms. Mowz is one of the last members you will acquire and is completely missable.
She can be found in the overworld once have completed Chapter 4.

Trouble that you will need to pick up from the quest board.
Once you do, you will meet with her and be tasked with finding a rare badge.
Completing the mission will get her to join your team.
Ms. Mowz isn’t the best fighter, but her out-of-battle ability is a must.
This is one of the best ways to organically find all the treasures without using guides.
Yoshi
Yoshi is picked up in Chapter 3 once you hatch an egg in the Glitz Pit.
He is the only party member you get to name yourself and is a tough fighter.
Inside of battle, Yoshi is nothing to laugh at.
Vivian
Vivian is the surprise party member of the game that switches to Mario’s side in Chapter 4.
She has the ability to hide Mario from enemies in the overworld.
She can do the same as a skill in battle.
