There have been many content creators that have had to issue one of these apologies.
The reasons may vary, but the scripted nature and unsincere feeling still remain.
Now as for how to find these apologies in the game, that is also pretty simple.
As players make their way through the game, they will have to enter the Goat Pen house.
It is within this house that they will find a whiteboard with a very scripted apology on it.
This clearly is in reference to the many scandals and subsequent apologies that are made on Youtube.
All in all, this Easter Egg is one of the more on-the-nose entries withinDead Island 2.

Our next Easter Egg, which is one that pokes fun at streamers and the concept overall.
At the same time, there are many different references to this concept throughout the game.
There are a few in particular that stand out.
In the game itself, however, these are known as Squirm Awards.
Players can find entire bedrooms made out to look like a streamer’s bedroom.
Each of these stages has its own references, which is really neat to see.
This gives this Easter Egg a ton of content to explore.
For movie and or TV buffs, this Easter Egg is phenomenal.
There are references to things such asThe Shining,Dawn of the Dead, and so much more.
These are scattered throughout Hell-A and will definitely give the player a chuckle when they find them.
Players can find the words redrum scrawled on one of the heavy industrial, military doors.
This is in clear reference to the horror classic.
However, there are many more Easter Eggs like this for players to go out and explore.
While we won’t spoil every one of them, they are fantastic to see.

Another reference that makes frequent appearances throughout the game’s runtime is a reference to the firstDead Island.
Again, this is a nice little nod to the first game and certainly feels cool to come across.
Even other characters within the game reference this song often.
