The main goal of the series has always been to build a civilization from scratch.

Bit by bit, youll expand your territory.

Gameplay
Civilization VIIwill highly likely retain the same gameplay as its predecessors.

So, definitely expect the same grueling but rewarding experience theCivilizationseries is known for.
The series has one of the deepest strategy gameplay systems.
WithCivilization VII, those systems are likely to grow even deeper and, hopefully, seamless.
The developing team promises to showcase some new, exciting features and innovations in August 2024.
These will likely be improvements to provide smoother and more fluid gameplay.
Development
Developer Firaxis Games and publisher 2K are currently working on the upcomingCivilization VII.
Theyve only just revealed the game to be in development at the Summer Games Fest 2024.
We only got a teaser trailer that doesnt go deep into the story and gameplay.
However, we can confirm that the full reveal will be made in August 2024.
At least we now know thatCivilization VIIis in development.
Especially since its been countless years of wondering when the next iteration in the series will arrive.

The teaser doesnt reveal much as far as the story and gameplay are concerned.
Its solely cinematic, building anticipation for the upcoming game.
Still, its easy on the eyes, with some pretty cool CGI transitions through history.
All it reveals is everything we already expect from aCivilizationtitle.
The goal is to build the greatest empire after your own heart.

Civilization VIIwill launch sometime in 2025.
Its unclear when exactly the release date will be.
