However, some Primer aliens survived and are now fighting to annihilate humanity.
Despite victory inEarth Defense Force 5, Earth’s remnants find themselves in a sea of despair.
The surviving humans and aliens all want a piece of Earths pie, however frail.
Or at least a seat at the Earthly realm table.
The fate of the human race hangs in the balance.
Yet there is no better savior than you, so to speak.
What is Earth Defense Force 6?
Earth Defense Force 6is anaction gamepreviously released in Japan in August 2022.
The previous entry,Earth Defense Force 5, left off with humans victorious over an alien invasion.
Survivors, both human and alien, have each lost many of their soldiers.
Earths population has shrunk to 10%.
Its remnants scramble amid an all-out war, scrambling for whats left of a devastated world.
Players, as always, take on the role of an EDF soldier.
Once again, they will have to master courage and wisdom to save Earth from impending doom.

The year is 2024 AD.
Mankind has won the long battle against the unknown invaders.
The enemy Primers are now gone, and peace has returned to Mother Earth.
However, the population has shrunk to 10%, and the world is on the verge of collapse.
The survivors fought against the remaining threats while trying their best to continue their recovery.
Three years passed in the year 2027.
Gameplay
Players will assume the role of an EDF soldier.
Every mission will support online co-op play, allowing you to team up with up to four players.
Itll also include offline couch play in split-screen mode for players within the same locale.
Earth Defense Forceis a long-running series that recently celebrated its 20th anniversary in June 2023.
Its been largely successful, with over 5 million copies sold across all major platforms.
Its certainly pleasant news to see the West finally get the chance to join the fun.
It seems that the story will be similar to the Japanese version, despite rumors of a fresh storyline.
Humanity will be going up against the invaders for a round two all-out battle, if you will.
With the alien invasion of the previous entry, Earth swims in a sea of despair two years later.
Humanity or the invaders?
The trailer confirms an upcoming Western release with an English voice-over and subtitle version, coming in 2024.
Additionally, it confirms that the game will be dropping on PlayStation and PC platforms next spring.
At the moment, we dont have an exact release date.
