Ares heavy-hitting, fast attacks are practically unblockable.
So, all Kratos can do is dodge them as quickly as he can.
Ares isn’t afraid to play dirty.
He puts Kratos through some sort of psychological torture to protect his already dead family against copies of himself.
Then, Kratos blades of chaos are taken away from him.
So, he needs to get used to a new weapon.
Especially since it took place in a completely different setting than we’re used to.
A gloomy one that gives you the creeps from the moment you walk through Hades' gates.
Fighting Hades, god of the dead, torturer of souls, and hells guardian comes at a price.
Nevertheless, its one of the most challenging god fights.
Hades has long-range claws that are unmatched by Kratos short-range attacks.
Plus, he can summon his multiple waves of minions every now and then to help kill Kratos.
Eventually, Kratos uses Hades own weapon against him and rips his soul out.
Thor, the god of thunder, has a bone to pick with you.
He seeks revenge for killing his sons.
Combine the twos ambitious track records, and you have yourself a true clash of the gods.
This one exudes rivalry, a bloody grudge, and a lightning-filled, most thrilling arena of all time.
