Itcanbe better, and it deserves to be better.
But for the time being, its somewhat difficult to recommendParanormal Hunterwithout listing copious amounts of unwanted caveats.
And the same just cant be said withPhasmophobia.
Of course, the gameplay in both of the competing titles is noticeably similar.
So much, that its easy to mistake one for the other, and vice versa.
Verdict
Maybe we just arrived at the scene a little too early?
Maybe the devs needed a little more time to cross the ts and dot the is?
Does this mean were done with it?
But right now, we just cant recommend it.
Or at least, not until it irons out its creases, anyway.
Its atmospherically on point, and hands down one of the most compelling ghost games ever created straight up.
To answer the question of which of the two games is better itsPhasmophobia,without fail.
Just not in 2023, as it goes.
