It’s been dubbed the spiritual successor toDead Space, so you should have no trouble feeling at home.
Of course, most of the time, at least one monster will spot you a mile away.
In the end, youll save up more ammo and health for moments when you need them the most.
However, the game cleverly has a good number of extra doors, ladders, and rooms available.
Its not always these extra pathways will lead to something worthwhile.
However, you might get lucky and find a new weapon or loot to amp up your defense.
Some of the rooms even have labels above the gates or doors like supplies, lockers, or storage.
Once you grab them, stomp on them to see if they have valuable loot.
These will sometimes have ammo, health gels, and other valuables that will come in handy.
Upgrades vs Supplies
Its easy to want to scoop up every other resource available.
But your inventory will fill up quickly, and the game will ask that you discard the excess.
Yes, youll still find the supplies where you left them.
Alternatively, you could offload the excess in exchange for cash at nearby terminals.
Or to wait till youve progressed through the main story.
At first, you have six slots.
When you reach the Lost chapter, you get 12 slots.
And yes, thats for everything, including health injectors, GRP batteries, ammo, and so on.
But the best way is to upgrade what you already have.
Supplies are limited anyways.
Ideally, these can be two weapons, like the baton and GRP, to minimize spending.
Theres no use having a high supply if it’s ineffective in battle.
A quick tip is to prioritize upgrading your baton over others.
Off with the Legs
Combat is most important, Ill say.
And, instead, blast off the legs.
you could shine your weapons flashlight at stronger enemies so they shield their eyes and slow down their movement.
Then, it gets easier and much quicker to finish them off.
