Every decision, regardless of how insignificant, can contribute to a players likelihood of living or dying.
The objective is to end the game with as many survivors as possible.
However, while keeping her alive is difficult, it is not impossible.
Shefalls into an open mine as she tries to get away from the human stranger and Wendigo pursuing her.
Emily manages to maintain some distance between herself and the Wendigo, eventually coming to two paths.
You must decide whether to go left or right.
However, the most suitable decision at this stage should be going left if you want to live.
You must be quick to pull the elevators lever and board.
The Wendigo will catch up with you and gouge your eyes out if you hesitate.
Notably, you may have to hold still for a short while when the elevator comes to a stop.
Holding still is necessary if you chose the right path or didnt initially complete all QTEs.
However, it is not necessary if you completed all QTEs and chose the left path first.
Notably, you must complete all QTEs when you get out of the elevator to ensure that Emily survives.
Missing even one QTE means that Emily dies instantly.
Em isnt out of danger yet, as the Wendigo is still in pursuit.
You have the choice to stay on the conveyor belt or leap off.
As such, you must choose to jump off the belt to get to safety.
However, Emily still isnt safe, although her chances of dying are much lower now.
The Wendigo is still in pursuit and will bite her if she doesnt defend herself.
She can use a flare gun to scare the Wendigo off if she has one.
Fortunately, if bitten, the bite doesnt kill her.
She eventually gets to safety by ziplining or falling down the ridge toward the lodge.
Once she gets to her friends location, she is safe.
However, there’s the likelihood that she was bitten by the Wendigo before ziplining to safety.
However, no one knows that yet.
She hurdles together with her friends when she reaches the lounge.
This creates an opportunity for Ashley to notice her Wendigo bite.
Ashley’s realization tips off the crew.
Mike is the most affected member and, engorged by fear, threatens Em.
He asks Emily to leave the group.
Failure to do so, Mike threatens to shoot her.
Ideally, you should spare her life, as the Wendigo bite is harmless.
The cabin is under attack by multiple Wendigos.
The group plans to blow up the cabin with the Wendigos inside.
If not, she will let Ashley leave first.
She also leaves first if Chris and Ashley are dead.
Being the first to leave guarantees Emilys survival, as the first one to leave the cabin always survives.
In contrast, Wendigos will catch Emily and gouge her eyes out if she is too late to leave.
However, Emily could also die in the cabin from the explosion.
Her survival depends on Sams decision.
Sam will be under pressure to set off the explosion as more Wendigos enter the cabin.
He can trigger the explosion too early or wait until everyone leaves the cabin.
As such, you must choose to wait until Emily leaves before running to the switch.
